HOTEL INVESTMENT IN AREQUIPA TOTALLED The three and four star hotels were the ones that caught more private investment in the city of Arequipa, as well as the accomodations in the Colca Valley, which in recent years has become a tourist area with big tourist flow. Seasonal tourism (summer) towards the beaches of Camaná and Islay is another area that has grown by 20%, which also motivated the lodging houses and two-star hotels to open their doors this season to receive people.
